This summer we decided to grow a few vegetables. A couple weeks ago we got our first harvest. Ava was our taste tester! I'm glad she likes vegetables!

There is a fountain just across the street from our city library; I see it often and think I can't wait until next summer when Ava is big enough to play in the water. This week was so hot I decided we should give the fountain a try. At first she really didn't like the water shooting at her but when I set her down in a puddle where there were no sprays she had a great time!
Of course she was beat after a fun day at the park!
We also took Ava on her first camping trip this summer! We couldn't decide between mountain camping or beach camping. I wanted the beach so we found this sweet campground called Kopachuck State Park only 45 minutes from where we live!
Ava had so much fun she could hardly sleep that night! I learned that Ava loves dirt! In fact she is eating some in this picture!
From the campground there is a nice hike along the beach. We went hiking at low tide and found all kinds of interesting sea creatures.
This is a picture of Ava's first time swinging! As you can tell she's a fan!
