Spoiler Alert

We recently tried taking our own family photos in the fall leaves. Surprisingly the endeavor went very well: The girls were agreeable to the task, It took us less than an hour total, and best of all we actually had fun doing it.

We have an okay camera, nothing fancy, but probably the best point and shoot out there. Our action plan was: walk around the neighborhood loop, find a nice spot for pictures, set up tripod, set timer, and smile. Most smiles were genuine only a couple photos did we bring out the jelly bean bribes. I have shared some our favorites. Spoiler Alert: you may see one of these pictures on a Christmas Card!

A neighbor cat joined in on the picture fun!

I hoped that the pictures in the red leaves turned out better but the camera angle was bad and the girls were getting hungry. The leaves are beautiful, but unfortunately we are out of focus and our faces are dark.

Eric really tried to get a good picture of both the girls together. I've decided that may be an impossible task. Oh well, they had fun in the leaves.

I was so glad we took pictures when we did because the next day was windy and blew most of the leaves off the trees. Eric swept up all the leaves into a big pile and the girls had a grand time jumping in them. I think my last blog post was premature. Jumping in leaves: This is fall!

Then I tried getting a few more good shots while we were playing in the leaves.

This is a random addition: Ava having lunch with her friends.
