As Ava changes everyday it makes me very grateful for all the modern devices that allow us to capture a moment in time. A few weeks ago we took this picture by a tree full of blossoms and now of course the blossoms are no more and have turned to deep red leaves. Likewise Ava's hair is no more. The once dark hair of her birth is just a light peach fuzz all over her head. This reminds me that I am also grateful for headbands.
In the pictures below Ava is about 3 1/2 months old
Eric's sister Lisa and her husband Cory came and visited us this month after Cory finished his final year of Law School. We had so much fun showing them the sights of Seattle. Ava was pretty excited to finally meet her Aunt Lisa and Uncle Cory.
Of couse the troll under the bridge was part of the itinerary.
This past weekend we had a little getaway to the beach where we were able to catch some waves. It was the best surfing beach I've been too because the waves were just the right size for a beginner like myself and the water was mostly fed by the Colombia River making it fresh water.
Daddy and Ava relaxing at the pool.
And what's a vacation without sitting in your pajamas all day watching cable TV!

Sherry....She is so adorable like her Mama. :) I'll be home the beginning of August for my baby shower and I would love to see you and your Mama there. :)
