March was a busy month for our family. At the beginning of the month Eric's youngest sister was married in the Salt Lake Temple. It is always a joy to visit the temple Eric and I were married, but this trip was especially memorable because all his siblings are now married. It was pretty amazing to have all the Porter's together in the temple!
Ava enjoyed some cousin bonding time!
The day after we got back from Utah Eric had a spur of the moment buisiness trip to New York. Luckily I was able to join him for a weekend thanks to Southwest rewards. Ava stayed at Grandma's house. I missed her so much but I am so glad I didn't take her.
We were able to visit some family that live just outside of the city. It was so fun to attend church with them. They also recommended we check out Liberty Park. A beautiful waterfront Park where you can see the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.
Ironically I go to a big city but spend half my time in Central Park so I can enjoy trees and trails (as if I don't get that at home). However, my favorites in Central Park were the performers and the castles (which I don't find in my local parks).
It's fun to go new places but there really is no place like home!
Ava was so excited to have her Daddy home she didn't let him go for 3 days straight (or maybe that was me:)

Great update. So fun to see those cute pictures of Ava in that little bridesmaid dress with her cousins.
And hey, cute scarf! Whoever picked that out must have some serious style. :)
