Easter Babies

Easter is a special holiday to me. I think about the world around me transforming and coming to life; the blossoms, flowers, and baby animals. Last year on a warm Easter Sunday we brought baby Maryanne home from the hospital. This year wasn't quite as exciting as bringing home a baby girl; but we still had a wonderful Easter weekend.

I organized a neighborhood Easter Egg hunt on Saturday. Unfortunately I didn't take very many pictures.

There's a lot less mess when we eat dinner outside!
 Today was a quiet Sunday.
Blowing bubbles for Maryanne

Most Importantly at Easter I think of the Savior, Jesus Christ, who rose from the tomb on that first Easter long ago.
Below is a web address to a short video depicting the events of the first Easter. It is a well done video and great reminder of what we are really celebrating!

Happy Easter!

Look at those little pig tails. So cute. Good for you for organizing a little Easter Egg hunt. How fun.
