Visitors Part I

The Last week of August my parents and niece Hannah came to visit. We had a great time seeing some of the local sights in Australia but mostly we just enjoyed playing together.

Ava loved having a few extra horsies to ride!

Our first trip was out to Phillip Island, which is an hours drive outside Melbourne. On the way there we stopped by a small wildlife park where we got to feed some native Australian animals.
I think koalas are my new favorite animal look how cute this little guy is.

Awwww!

There were also tame kangaroos. I believe they are grey kangaroos.

They even had an albino kangaroo

We also took a little stop for some Pirate mini golf. Here Hannah and Ava are in the stocks.

This is a wombat also very cute and friendly!

Feeding the kangaroos again.

These bluffs are called the Nobbies. Where you can find heaps of seals, nesting birds, and of course the famous australian fairy penguins.

Thompson family picture, Ava didn't like that idea.

That sums up our trip to Phillip Island, we have more pictures from our adventures with the Thompsons and our drive along the Great Ocean Road but I will save that for my next blog post.
